I like to explore what ordinary people will do when the training wheels of civilization fall off and everyone is suddenly riding through life completely on their own. I do this while keeping the stories on the lighter side, with humor and a little romance, while staying away from darker themes and violence common in other post-apocalyptic books. This formula has worked well for me the past 10 years, as I’ve written 50 books and amassed tens of thousands of great reviews.
